MBEC ANNOUNCES WINNER OF 2005 BUSINESS RECOGNITION AWARD

MISSISSAUGA, (ON.) – With a new branding strategy, new business plan and new logo, Health Assured Financial Group also has a new award to add to their list of accomplishments. The company was recently awarded a Business Recognition Award from the City of Mississauga, Mississauga Business Enterprise Centre (MBEC).

The award recognizes member businesses that have achieved excellence in their given field. To select the winner, MBEC reviewed the business plans of submitted entrants and examined their business goals and achievements in the past year.

"I was so impressed with what other businesses were accomplishing after attending last year's MBEC Annual Recognition Event that I made a commitment to myself to find a better way to market my business. Through the example of others, I was challenged to look at my business through fresh eyes," says Jacqueline Figas, President of Health Assured Financial Group.

Health Assured Financial Group is an independent insurance brokerage firm in Mississauga serving the Greater Toronto Area, with over 30 years of industry experience. The company specializes in helping clients plan for current and future health care expenses. The goal of the firm is to help clients achieve an optimum balance between risk transfer and out-of-pocket cost to insure.
