Medical Insurance When You Do Not Have OHIP

You can purchase interim medical insurance for you and your family while you are waiting to qualify for OHIP. There is a 90-day waiting period before you will be eligible for OHIP. Check here for more details, and be sure to get personal medical insurance in the meantime. Hospitals in Ontario can cost $3,000 for 1 night ... plus doctor's fees. Don't leave yourself unprotected! |
