Manulife Financial offers 3 different health and dental plans. Each plan has several coverage levels. You can purchase coverage which includes pay-direct drugs with or without a dental plan. Following is an overview of the 3 different health and dental plans.

THE ASSOCIATION PLAN - Sponsored by Health Assured

This plan is underwritten by Manulife and includes 4 different coverage levels - Base Plan, Bronze Plan, Silver Plan, and Gold Plan.  They are available with drugs and dental, or can be purchased as a dental plan without prescription coverage. When purchased without the drug benefit, the dental benefits have a slightly lower reimbursement.

FLEXCARE

 This program offers 3 different plans:

a)  the DrugPlus with either Basic or Enhanced prescription drug plan

b) the DentalPlus with either Basic or Enhanced dental plan

c) the ComboPlus - which provides both the drug plan and dental plan in one comprehensive package at either the Starter, Basic or Enhanced level.

There are additional options available as either add-on enhancements or stand-alone benefits.

Seniors can purchase modified benefits to complement their Ontario Drug Benefit.

FOLLOW ME

This is a comprehensive benefit plan for individuals who are leaving behind group insurance through a former employer.  No medical evidence is required, it is a guaranteed issue insurance plan. However, benefits must be applied for within 60 days of your group benefits terminating.
